This is the primordial caos! A lot of work to do and so many enthusiasm! I've started by the basic things, taking off the pieces from the frames, glueing together and sanding.
The P.E. Parts from Renaissance are very detailed, but not easy to manage. These incude: the chain, the clutch, rear and front discs and dashboard.
The Engine is completed with a new clutch case really detailed....even 10 discs and 14 elements!! Very beautiful but fragile! The exhaust fixing look more realistic than the original.
After a Beautifull trip in Spain and Portugal I'm back at home to continue my job! I'v started the rear arm....
The front fork detailing set from renaissance is fantastic and so realistic!! It's a long work and I'm so many time far from home....
It seems to go in the right way....to me! And the primordial caos it's transformed in ordered caos....
Now I stop to continue because I go in Germany for the next Motocross World champ race... I work with Honda Motocross...
Now finally after few weeks I'm back at home and I start the long and hard body work. The new body...2005 version from Renaissance with some modify come in the box really raw and required a long job to look good.
After sanding, puttyng and sanding again with a lot of patience and sanding paper(from 400 to 2000 Tamiya paper) and some coat of grey Tamiya Primer given with the airbrush the body and the frame(filled with Tamiya Epoxy Putty)look quite good...
After The Gp Motocross of Lierop watching Stefan Everts winn is 100th Gp I'm back at home in Roma for few days. The work on the frame and the ciclistic parts continue with the base of the front fork. I've bought in Japan the '04 RcV Front Fork Set of Tamiya and it look very beautiful like ever.
The kit need some smal modify to fit with the '06 body and the base of the fork is different from '04. I've cutted the little tank on the front, the long support of the mudguard and the two bolt in plastic. Then I've added the new lateral tank of the fork.
I've used two steel 0,5mm Bolt of Galtran very nice. I hope to make some other Photos to send to you before I leave. The next Gp will be the last of Motocross Championship before the Greath GP of the Nations!
At only 7 days to the End I need to go faster than is possible to finish in time! But I' not so in retard.
The Engine is quite ready, the Frame also and now I work on the electric connection...
The rear Arm is ready to recieve the Weel and the showa components. The mud guard is fixed with Model FactoryHiro rivets. The carbon fiber is from Scale Model..
The detail show ow I've made the aspiration mesh...
In the same moment I've made the last part of the body... After two coats of Tamiya Ts49 airbrushed and a Week of drying the decals arrive...
This is the front weel with the red ABS disc... The air valve come from the Yamaha front fork set of Tamiya.
The Engine is quite ready to fill in the frame... Waiting for the cables and the tubes..
Finally the bike is complete! Sorry for the delay! Is not the result that I immagine...some dettail are absent but I'm quite happy for my first Modeler GP.
