Honda RC211V/Tamiya/2002/West Honda Pons/Alex Barros

I intend building the Honda RC211V ridden by Alex Barros at the end of the 2002 season, on which he managed to win on his first outing. I will be using the Studio 27 white metal stand, photo etched parts & decals.

The body parts have recieved three coats of black (one mat, two gloss). Will leave for two weeks to dry, after which I will give laquer.
I have attached the main engine components and sprayed them using Tamiya acrylics.
The main body parts have been sprayed using the Tamiya TS14 & received the gloss coat using an automotive lacquer over the decals.
I have assembled engine, used the photo etched of Studio 27 and given an overall wash. agian using the photo etched i have assembled the rear disc break and a wash on the tamiya tyre decal.

The engine can be seen with the carburators on, almost ready except some wiring, engine has studio 27 photo etch Honda logos affixed.
The engine has been inserted in the frame along with the swing arm, front forks, front fender, callipers, also has some of the photo etch on the frame, and swing arm, which have all been given a wash and dry brush to enhance the details on the Tamiya kit.
